What’s New!?

Oktoberfest in the Gardens Melbourne has been amazing over the past few years, but it’s about to get a whole lot better! In 2019 we’re looking to rival our Sydney event for the crown of the biggest Oktoberfest in Australia!

Australia’s Biggest Beer Hall

To replicate the traditional München festival, there will be a long list of German entertainers within the main beer hall, including German brass bands, yodellers, roving accordion players, pretzel fräuleins and a number of other German bands on and off stage.

More German Beer

There will be a huge range of imported German beers on tap at Oktoberfest in the Gardens Melbourne, plus a range of cider, wine and spirits for those non-beer drinkers out there.

Taste your way through our long list of delicious German brews this Oktober!

Live & Local Stage

Located alongside the Food Land, Oktoberfest in the Gardens will feature a live and local stage where up and coming local bands will battle it out for ultimate Oktoberfest glory.

The talent we’re seeing this year is remarkable, so make sure you catch a glimpse.

Extensive Food Land

More people means more delicious food options!

In Melbourne, we’re spoilt with hundreds of fantastic German inspired caterers and many of these will be on offer at Oktoberfest in the Gardens Melbourne! Check out the Food and Drinks page for all the info as we lock in more and more!

Heaps More Rides & Games

This year we’ll be bringing in some of the biggest thrill rides from all over the country! Drink up, buckle up and strap yourself in for the ride of your life! We highly recommend you give your stomach a little while to digest all the delicious food before jumping on some of these rides or else it could turn out for the wurst!

Oktoberfests Biggest Silent Disco

The ever-popular Silent Disco at Oktoberfest in the Gardens is about to get even bigger! So big in fact that it will hardly be silent with everyone screaming out “That’s the way it’s got to be little darling…!!!!”.  We’ll be featuring some of Melbourne’s finest DJs covering all genres, and of course it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest in the Gardens without our popular touring DJs that jump on the decks each year.

1, 2, 3 DODGEBALL! Five-on-five lederhosen battles in our inflatable Dodgeball arena will be the newest addition to Oktoberfest in the Gardens.

We’ve sold out in days every year, so get your mates organised and we’ll see you on 19 October for one wunderbar day in Melbourne!
